Skills:

Previous, demonstrable experience within a Fleet Manager capacity
Experience within a 3PL environment/industry
Sound knowledge of O Licence requirements
Knowledge and experience of Mandata transport system
Must have a National CPC certification
Able to demonstrate a high level of expertise in a busy and demanding environment and work to challenging deadlines and targets
Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working, in order to meet the requirements of the business, particularly at peak periods during the year
IT literacy in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Overview:

Manage, maintain and control all fleet within Kammac overseeing multiple sites to increase efficiency, maximise service, performance, value and profit. Work closely with Fleet Compliance Manager to organise and coordinate the maintenance of the Fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

Kammac’s business objectives and departmental objectives
Direct and develop plans to achieve agreed Fleet targets
Manage, direct, and monitor the condition and performance of the Fleet
Conduct in-depth accident and investigation management to establish fault or cause and implement measures to reduce and prevent future risk
Monitoring and maintaining trailer tracking of the fleet
Arranging services and MOTs for fleet, covering multiple sites
Liaise with third party suppliers/service providers, monitoring turnaround of vehicle repairs, ensuring timely return of fleet
Daily review of driver defects – regular inputting of data and updates into Mandata
Report defects and breakdowns, monitoring outcomes, to ensure completeness and reduce impact to operations
Collaborate closely with planners providing visibility of off-road vehicles to support effective planning measures
Manage and support your team of maintenance fitters, coordinating and delegating routine and unplanned maintenance
