Experience of working in a similar L&D role and knowledge of rolling out apprenticeships
Ideally, experience within Transport/Logistics sector
Organised, logical and good attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Passion for developing future talent
Ideally L&D/CIPD Level 3 Qualified
Ability to project manage and work under tight deadlines for multiple stakeholders.
Passion for helping others, excellent customer service abilities.
Experience working with people across a variety of roles.
Proficient in MS Office & HRIS
Well presented with a professional manner
Driver with own car, flexible to travel to other sites
Reporting to the Group HR Manager and working closely the Operational Teams, HR and Recruitment Team, you will be responsible for the set-up, administration and co-ordination of all learning and development activities and apprenticeships across all business areas of Kammac. The early focus for this role will be on supporting the set-up and roll out of an LGV Driver Apprenticeship Programme. In the longer term the role will develop to are role that ensures all Kammac employees have all the necessary knowledge, skills and qualifications to deliver our strategic business goals
Supporting managers to identify training needs that are aligned to business goals
Contributing to the creation and delivery of a company-wide training needs analysis, training plan and budgeting process
Identification of on-job learning opportunities and strategies to develop the capability of our people
Organising and co-ordinating a wide range of internal and external training courses
Deliver adhoc learning projects, including the design and delivery of skills workshops as required
Ensuring all training interventions are evaluated, meet the goals of the business and deliver value for money
Efficient, effective, day to day admin and support to management for all L&D and Apprenticeship activities
Development and implementation of a robust training recording system – initially you will utilise Mitrefinch HRIS
First point of contact for the organisation in relation to all L&D and Apprenticeship queries
Liaising with training providers
Advising on training needs and identifying options to meet those needs across the business
Contribute to the development of L&D processes and procedures
Participate in reviews with apprentices and development of managers skills in such reviews
Research and reporting on available funding for training
Support the Group HR Manager to develop and roll out a 1-2-1 Review process
Co-ordinate and support all the implementation of apprenticeship programmes from start to completion
Apprenticeship Levy management; DAS updates, incentive payments claims, apprentice cohort loads.
Agreements and contracts associated with apprenticeship levy and funding
Building, maintaining, and growing strong relationships with our partners, managers, and wider people teams.
Identify, prioritise and recommend apprenticeship initiatives in line with business need.
Promote and increase awareness of the benefits of apprenticeships and how they support our growth and early talent pipeline.
Own and manage the embedding of operational processes.
Own the measuring and reporting of programme performance (progression, retention, engagement, quality, and cost), and the monitoring of schemes regulatory compliance.
Be accountable for learner data including learning, progression, results, and satisfaction, ensure that all key performance indicators are reached.
Liaison with trainers, mentors, booking training rooms, printing and distributing course materials and ensuring required equipment is available and in working order for the efficient running of all relevant events
Carrying out research as directed.
Attending meetings, taking notes and progressing actions as required.
Ensuring that confidentiality and security of sensitive information is maintained and complies with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998
