About Network International Cargo
Network International Cargo is an independent, privately owned company that was established in 1992. Their success is based on delivering reliable, fast, and customised supply chain solutions with the customer, front and centre of everything that they do.
Project Undertaken
At the beginning of 2024, Network International contacted us, driven by the urgent need for a North West office and short-term warehouse space to accommodate their ongoing business growth.
They had a list of requirements that they needed including:
- Security, gatehouse and CCTV
- Flexibility and scalability
- Options to extend warehousing
- Located in WA/L postcode
- 10,000 sq.ft. of short-term storage
- Options to extend yard area for parking
- Offices for 5 employees, including growth options
Challenges
Given Network International’s requirements for their ideal location, we promptly set to work and identified our most suitable sites within the North West region. We were tasked with a short lead time of 8-12 weeks to identify the site, agree on heads of terms, and move in. It quickly became apparent that Warrington 379 was the perfect choice.
Warrington is a BRC AA graded, with 6 acres of external space, 24/7 on site security, CCTV and a gatehouse. The site also features plenty of options for future expansion.
Solution
Our Warrington 379 site was selected as the ideal location, and an implementation plan was drawn up and we began by constructing offices suitable for five of their employees. We built structured partition walls and formed five offices, all fitted with electricity ready to be furnished as Network International Cargo’s office base.
Within 2 weeks the office was fully built and their employees were moved in, using the office space by week 3. From late December to the first day of operation at the start of February, the transition and site move proceeded smoothly, with no interruptions to their operations or customer deliveries.
This has been a great project and we look forward to building upon this partnership in the years to come.
“Right from the start of negotiations with Kammac it became apparent that they absolutely understood our requirement. They were quick to put the right people in place to help deliver the transition in a seamless and professional manner with integrity at the heart of everything they did. An implementation plan was drawn up and agreed with key stakeholders who were always available to help with the progression plan as we looked to exit our existing facility.
We achieved every aspect of our scope, and I would say even exceeded expectation in some areas around quality and security. There was complete buy in from Kammac who helped deliver all of our objectives, including office build and communications within the timeline set out.
From late December onward to 1st February as first day of operation the transition and site move went very smoothly and was managed with no interruption to operations or disruption to our customers deliveries.
We would like to thank all those at Kammac who put the work and effort into the site move, we found the whole experience first class and gained confidence that we had found a good match in terms of company ethos and values. We look forward to many years in our new base at Dallam Lane, Warrington supporting our customers and the rest of the NIC Network, working alongside Kammac as a key and strategic partner.”
