Following our acquisition by the Elanders group in November last year, Kammac are proud to announce new appointments within our senior management team as the business focuses on driving continued growth by building our presence in ecommerce fulfilment services and developing new sectors.
Having worked at Kammac for the last five years as Commercial Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO), Ged Carabini has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Ged brings with him a wealth of experience from his three-decade-long career in the logistics sector, during which he has held positions in various logistics organisations, such as Beva Leach Logistics and The Green Group.
In his new position as CEO of Kammac, Ged will also join the Elanders’ Group Management team. One of a team of seven, Ged will assume responsibility in leading Kammac’s growth initiatives within the portfolio of the Elanders’ Group.
Alongside Ged’s change in role, Gavin Varey has been appointed as Kammac’s new Director of Procurement and Facilities Management, following 20+ years’ experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain optimisation. Having previously held the position as Procurement Manager, Gavin has a deep understanding of effective procurement and will continue to play a key role in driving customer and supplier focused initiatives at Kammac.
Both Ged and Gavin are part of Kammac’s senior management team which is focused on driving profitable growth and broadening the business’s customer base in the medical, pharmaceutical and ecommerce fulfilment sectors.
In addition to driving the Kammac business forwards, the team will work with members of Elanders worldwide to provide access to additional services for its customers, as well as sharing insight across the group on how Kammac has achieved growth in the UK.
