The Burton 101 Opening Day was a great success!
Many guests attended the event that happened last Friday at our new site Burton 101, located in Burton-on-Trent. We would like to thank all the amazing people who were present on the occasion to know more about Kammac and the Burton 101 site.
Here are some interesting facts about Kammac and our Burton 101 site:
– The Burton 101 site has been able to win several new grade A clients. This means we will be able to push forward with our plans for a 2nd facility to be opened by mid-2024. Several long term contracts already being discussed.
– The Burton 101 site will be Kammac’s first 100% all HVO site in terms of our general Transport fleet.
– The Burton 101 site will process and also despatch over 500,000 e-fulfilment orders in the first 12 months of opening.
– The Burton 101 will create over 100 jobs in the local Burton area in the first 12 months. These jobs will be across Warehousing, Transport, operations, ecommerce and added value services.
– The Burton 101 site will receive and despatch over 167,200 pallets over the first 12 months
– Kammac as a business will have the ability to store over 400,000 pallets before December 2024.
– Kammac has plans to employee circa 1,500 team members by mid-2024 across its expanding business.
– Kammac will have no less than 7.2 million sq.ft. of Warehousing by the end of January 2025.
– As a business Kammac will both receive and despatch over 1,250,000 pallets a year from 2024.
– By no later than June 2024 Kammac will pick and despatch over 1.8 million case picks per annum.
