Maintaining high standards within a demanding market can be difficult, but here at Kammac we not only accept the challenge, we get it right. Being able to maintain our standards the way we do is what allows us to deliver an efficient, high quality and reliable service to each and every one of our valued clients.

So how do we do it?

 

1. Our Standards Process

The maintaining of our high standards is accredited to our stringent standards process, covering everything from process identification to corrective and preventative procedures. Leading on from this we are then able to fully understand the needs and expectations of our clients through our Quality Management System. Standard Operating Procedures are carried out to ensure a consistent and reliable service, Local Operating Procedures allow us to maintain high standards in a safe working environment, and Documentation evidences our high standards to our clients.

 

2. Support and Collaboration

We’re all one team. If one department wins, we all win, and at Kammac each employee knows the importance of supporting each other. Our hard work and effort are placed where it is needed in order to continue offering the best service. Collaboration and communication between each department means that every step of the process is strategically fused together.

 

3. Onboarding

Onboarding new employees is an exciting signal of growth, but without the right onboarding processes there is little those employees can do that will allow for that growth. Here at Kammac all our new employees are given thorough training, receive a warm and welcoming induction, and are mentored throughout their career with us. Training is constantly revisited and offered through visual aids and reminders.

 

4. Culture

Workplace culture has a huge impact on everything we do. Without culture we would never be able to maintain the standards we currently do. A positive work culture enhances the motivation, efficiency and productivity of our employees, encouraging them to continuously develop, search for solutions and aim for optimum client satisfaction.

 

5. Automation and Technology

The world of automation and technology is expanding every day, Kammac believe that the use of technology impacts us positively with systems in place for safer working conditions, allowing employees to focus on providing high quality service with peace of mind. Our learning management system, Eco Online, allows us to seamlessly implement safety procedures ensuring compliancy across the board. Another use of technology providing a safer working environment are our Lone Working Devices, the wearable GPS devices send alerts in the event of an employee working alone experiencing an injury such as, slips, trips, or falls.

 

6. Certifications

Pursuing certifications allows us to not only best serve our customers where they have specific requirements such as in the storage of medical devices, but they also challenge us to ensure we’re meeting the standards we have set for ourselves. Aside from our specialist certifications such as BVA for storing pharmaceuticals, we also hold certifications for BRC AA at many of our sites. As the Highest BRC rating possible, it shows our commitment to high standards for human consumables.

 

7. Award Winning

At Kammac we are proud of each award we receive because we know all the hard work that was put in to be deserving of winning. These awards show the dedication of our staff, provide great opportunities to shout about them, offer some amazing award nights, and look great in our boardroom. Even when we don’t win, the level we’re competing at shows how far we have come. At The Safety & Health Excellence Awards for example we were narrowly, beaten by Weetabix… but we’ll be back next year.
